Today I see a world shaken.

Today I see men scrambling.

Confusion and terror reign over the land.

The mighty fear a tiny foe,

And hide from each other,

Behind strips of cloth – A worthless defense.

Has Hope really fled?

Science is aghast.

Hearts are torn

From fear and dread

As we count the dead.
