God’s Greatness
Sometimes I just tremble at the majesty of God’s Greatness. It grips me and holds me spellbound in reverence and awe. I feel smaller than a grasshopper in His Presence – mostly at night when the sky is clear, filled with stars I cannot count for number; or watching the sun set over the ocean. His handiwork is magnificent to behold. To think that He knows my name, the number of hairs on my head – that He cares when I stumble; makes my heart pound.
When fear and stress wage war within me, I cry out to Him to settle my spirit, because He promised:
“For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” ~Isaiah 41:13 (KJV)
