Okay! Our town looks far different in the winter than in the summertime when visitors grace the peninsula (mostly to fish the salmon season). Realizing that I haven’t tried out the gallery feature of this new block editor yet, it seems a great time to check out Old Town Kenai for distinguished Historic Landmarks.
Right in the center of town – Old Town Kenai, that is – we find (1894) Holy Assumption Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Church, and across the street proudly sits
(1906) St. Nicholas Chapel, Kenai, Alaska
– complete with recently restored roof
May our Heavenly Father bless and keep you safe this January. Pray always for His guidance over those in authority over us, and thank you for visiting Importantstuff.Live!
