How is your year going? Has it been dominated by catastrophe or strife? As scary or painful as it may be, our LORD may be preparing you for a deeper walk with Him. It may seem that you are stuck in a testing ground of your faith. Believe in the power of our LORD to pull you across the barrier into peace. Rely upon Him, for the more difficult the testing, the closer the walk is.

2025 has been a difficult year for our family. We lost a precious loved one and it came as a blow that crushed our hearts, bringing our spirits low. Have you been in that emotional valley? If so, I hope it has not been recently and that your faith in God pulled you through it. I pray that you are stronger for it.

For me, the pain is still clawing at my soul, tearing at my spirit if I don’t rest in my Heavenly Father’s comfort. He does not cause bad things to happen. He gives us His courage to endure struggles in our broken world. Nor does He forsake us in our feelings of hopelessness.

But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. ~ Jeremiah 17:7

Today my thoughts are with all of you who can use some heartfelt encouragement to cope with whatever you are going through. Lean into our Savior for a dose of His healing power.
